How To Sign Up:

We are using a new program this year called Uplifter Inc. to register applicants. YOU MUST HAVE A REGISTERED ACCOUNT WITH UPLIFTER TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES (It's free and easy!) Please create this account BEFORE Nov 5th at 8pm if you are hoping to be one of the first to join Spring classes.

REGISTRATIONS WILL AUTOMATICALLY GO LIVE AT 8PM ON NOVEMBER 5th ON UPLIFTER

When you click this link, look for the blue bar that says "You must login or create an account to register for programs". Toggle the pop up screen to "First Time Registering?" and fill out the information provided. Don't forget to verify your account by responding the to the automated email that they will send you!

By registering you are considered a "Member" on the site. Once you have created your account, please make sure that you go to "Participants" and add each of your children that you would like to register. This will help you on November 5th essentially skip a step because you will be able to select the participants you wish to register and add that program to your cart immediately when registration opens at 8pm. If you need any help, please send us an email at sistersactaustin@gmail.com

Once you successfully add a program to your cart, the system will hold your spot in your cart for 30 minutes while you finish the waivers required and fill out your payment information. If you selected the incorrect program, please release your spot in the cart so that another family has an opportunity to grab it.

In the past we have filled our programs in just minutes, so if you are interested in joining us this spring we do urge families to be ready to register quickly. WE WILL HAVE WAITLIST SPOTS- It is definitely worth joining a waitlist. We always have some confusion/shuffling on registration night and you would be surprised how many spots pop back available.

101 Dalmatians:

Mondays 4:00-5:30 OR Thursdays 4:00-5:30

January 22-April 27

Enrolling students of all levels Kindergarten-5th Grade

Cost: $360 (*price includes a SistersAct rehearsal tshirt and rehearsal bag) Sibling Discount: $35 OFF

This once a week 90 minute program focuses on putting together a full musical with lights, sounds, sets, costumes, props, and your child as the star! Every participant who enrolls will be cast as a part in our show on Saturday, April 27th. This 30-40 minute production is tailored specifically for beginner through intermediate actors. We will meet for a total of 13 rehearsals, one tech, and one dress rehearsal (We will not meet the week of March 11th for both Monday and Thursday casts). $120 due now, and two remaining payments of $120 due January 1, 2024 and February 1, 2024.

This once a week 120 minute program focuses on putting together a full musical with lights, sounds, sets, costumes, props, and your child as the star! Every participant who enrolls will be cast as a part in our show on Saturday, May 11. This program culminates in a 60-75 minute production featuring all of the songs and scenes from Matilda Jr. We will meet for a total of 15 rehearsals, one tech, and one dress rehearsal (We will not meet the week of March 11). $125 deposit due now, and then two payments of $175 due January 1 and February 1, 2024.

New this season- We will be accepting two groups into each time slot and casting from all participants into two complete casts. Students may indicate friends or siblings that they must be placed with on their audition forms, but their best casting chances come from being flexible. Casts will participate in rehearsals both together and separately on the same day.

Spotlights: Musical Revue

This once a week 60 minute program focuses on putting together a full musical revue with your child as the star! Every participant who enrolls will be cast as a part in our show on Friday, April 26. This program culminates in a 60 minute production featuring several popular songs from modern musicals. Each student will get the chance to work on a solo, duet, or trio, as well as take place in several larger group numbers. We will meet for a total of 12 rehearsals and one dress rehearsal (We will not meet the week of March 11). $100 deposit due now and then $135 remainder due January 1, 2024.

AUDITIONS:

Students who participated in High School Musical OR Cinderella with Spotlights will be able to sign up starting Nov 5th if they wish to claim a spot in this musical revue. You will not be asked to re-audition for this show. Any spots not claimed by 8pm on Sunday, Nov 12th will be open to new participants.

New Students: Submit an audition prior to November 12th and if you are accepted to the program, you will be pre-approved to grab an available spot on Sunday evening, November 12th. If you are unable to send in an audition prior to November 12th, you will need to wait to see if spots remain available after this date.

Disney Classics: Minis Program

Beginners program for ages 4-6

Cost: $195

This once a week 45 minute program focuses on learning the basics of theatre for our youngest performers! We will explore singing, acting, and dancing through music from Disney Classics! We will meet for 13 classes (We will not meet the week of March 11). $100 due now and then $95 remainder due on January 1, 2024.

Students will perform one musical number before 101 Dalmatians Shows.

Improv Acting Classes

Thursdays from 4:30-5:30

Ages 2nd Grade and Up

Cost $215

This once a week 60 minute class focuses on studying improv acting skills. Students will dive into games, activities, and scenes that are entirely unscripted and unplanned. We will also learn important stage skills, like what to do if you forget your line on stage, and how to cover for other actors that may have forgotten lines. This class is not focused on an overall production, but rather improvement of each student's individual talents. This class will be open to a smaller group of students than our production companies. We will meet for 12 classes (we will not meet the week of March 11). $100 due now, and then $115 remainder due January 1, 2024.

Acting Showcase Classes

Mondays from 4:30-5:30 OR Thursdays from 7:30-8:30

January 29-April 27

MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED IN ACTING BASICS THIS FALL TO CHOOSE THIS CLASS

Cost $235

This once a week 60 minute class focuses on truly diving into scenes and monologues to put together a showcase performance. Students will get lots of individualized attention as they work to hone their acting skills at the next level. We will meet for 12 classes (we will not meet the week of March 11). Students will perform scenes and monologues along with the Spotlights performers. $100 due now and the remainder of $135 is due on January 1, 2024.

Mandatory Dress Rehearsal: Wednesday, April 24 7:00-9:00

Performance will be Friday, April 26th at 7:45pm

Group Vocal Coaching

Mondays or Thursdays from 3:45-4:30 OR 4:35-5:20

January 29-May 2

Ages 7 and Up

Cost $25/week for 13 weeks for a total of $325

$70 deposit due at sign up, then $85/month Feb 1st, March 1st, and April 1st

This once a week 45 minute class focuses on improving vocal technique, learning the basics of reading music, and building musical confidence. Small groups of students (no more than 4 per session) will work together with our music director to grow their individual vocal prowess. This class is not focused on an overall production, but rather improvement of each student's individual talents. We will meet for 13 classes (we will not meet the week of March 11). $70 deposit due at sign up, then $85/month Feb 1st, March 1st, and April 1st
